As March is almost upon us and consequently St Patrick’s Day is just around the corner we thought we’d bring to you attention what we consider the best Irish bar in the Orlando area, Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant in Downtown Disney or what is now known as Disney Springs.
Opened in 2005 by one of the finest chefs in Ireland Master Chef Kevin Dundon of Dunbrody Country House Hotel and Cookery School, Co Wexford, the award winning Raglan Road is the real deal. It has the feel of an authentic Dublin pub and tantalises the tastebuds of it’s patrons with some of the finest Irish cuisine you will taste anywhere. The lunch and dinner menus list some Irish favourites with a the chef’s unique gastromonic twist or if you’d just rather something quick try traditional fish and chips at the attached Cooke’s of Dublin. There are also regular special events throughout the year. Keep an eye on the website or their Facebook pages for details.
No good Irish pub is without music and dance and Raglan Road is no exception here either, with performances by their Irish musicians and dancers throughout the day on two stages. Come in for a pint or food and enjoy the main stage or catch a performance on the patio stage outside.
Don’t just take our word for it, when you are in the area why not give it a try. We would advise if you have you heart set on dining there that you might make reservations in advance it is a popular spot and waiting times can be long without a reservation. You can make a reservation through their website: http://www.raglanroad.com or by phoning (407) 938-030
